About Marcela Bemposta

Origins

I was born and raised in Argentina, in a loving and caring family. I was able to quickly flourish in my search for freedom and identity.
From a young age, I was sensitive to nature, scents, colours and seasons. I developed a desire to live in the countryside, far from Buenos Aires, the city where I was born in 1962. My friends and family encouraged listening, listening to oneself.

My first passions

I was able to enter the world of sports, which was unfamiliar to my parents. I met people with a spirit of escapism and discovery.
I became a member of the Belgrano Athletic Club in Buenos Aires, where I joined the field hockey team for ten years. This sports activity, the training sessions and the matches at weekends, gave me immense joy. There were both physical and social aspects.

Languages and International Perspective

At that time, I also chose to learn foreign languages. I was curious about other cultures and other ways of life. I studied English for many years and received a degree in Italian in 1984.
At the age of 18, after completing my secondary education, I went to Cambridge, England, to do an advanced training course. Europe was already calling. Upon returning to Argentina, I continued my English studies at the Catholic University of Buenos Aires and received my degree in English/Spanish translation in 1984.

Settling in the Alps

With my sights often set on Europe, I eventually settled in the French Alps in 1987.

Skiing and Teaching

I have taught languages at several establishments, including GRETA and Cité des Langues.
After receiving my ISIA ski instructor diploma in May 2003, I taught skiing for ten years, from 2003 to 2013, in Meribel in Savoie and Verbier, Switzerland.

Yoga

At the same time, I continued my training as a yoga teacher at the school in Evian from 2006 to 2010. I received my yoga teacher diploma in 2010.
I began teaching yoga in 2006. I consider it a privilege and a great opportunity to have been able to do so in addition to my skiing and language lessons, rather than as my main activity. This allowed for more carefree spontaneity in my practice.

Psychotherapy and Support

In 2012, I began my training in psychotherapy at the École du Soin in Albertville, Savoie.
I received my diploma as an RIE (ethical identity search) therapist in June 2019.

Thanks to this, my yoga practice has been enriched, and continues to be enriched, by my knowledge and understanding of human beings and how they function.

Retreats and Stays

To date, I have had the opportunity to combine the two activities during the yoga retreats and therapeutic workshops that I have been organising twice a year since 2019 at various locations in Europe. (See history)

Today

With a desire to participate more actively in the professional sphere and to share the benefits of these practices, I recently started offering corporate seminars at Lac d'Aiguebelette in Savoie.

While considering the commercial interests of businesses and convinced of the priority given to the human aspect in their various activities, I am delighted to now devote a large part of my professional life to tailor-made, fully organised seminars at Lac d'Aiguebelette in the autumn and spring.
